Toni Areal, the building of ZHdK, is known for its brutalist architecture. The appearance is not organic at all. Instead it is rigid, grey and hard. Many rooms look exactly the same and seem fade. When abstracting the essence of ZHdK it results in adjectives like: massive, manmade, grey, sterile, rigid and hard. The colors, forms and materials are similar everywhere. This kind of sterility and repetition of architecture led to a anonymisation, which we wanted to visualize with a performance.
