Weiche Schale, kein Kern – Sculptural Installation

In "Weiche Schale, kein Kern" the material merges with the immaterial to form an exhibit for prosperity. What remains is only the shell. It is a series that addresses the protective shells of various objects. Objects worthy of protection are shrink-wrapped in transparent film for protection. Sacrifices in comfort, appearance and use are accepted in order to preserve the immaculate character of the acquired object. The object is thus "preserved", its as-new condition is maintained, but its appearance "suffers" and its functionality is limited.
